Abstract
A MANET is an ad hoc network that can change locations and configure itself.Because MANETS are mobile ad hoc network, they use wireless connections to connect various networks. The performance of network in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs),is improved using Energy Conservation-MAC Protocol along with DEL-CMAC Protocol. This is to enhancement of energy and network of MANETs in terms of energy efficiency and network lifetime. The relay selection strategy is incorporated, which selects the best relay based on residual energy and location information. To improve the spatial reuse, and an innovative NAV (network allocation vector) setting is provided to deal with the varying transmitting power of the source and relay terminals. It provides the best relay selection algorithm to select the cooperative node with better channel condition, best relay and more balanced energy consumption and higher transmission rate.
