Abstract
Due to the river action many of the landforms like island suffers severe bank erosion due to the erosive action of rivers. It changes the landform of the island in way that is very destructive. The erosive activities of the river have been very devastating and life threatening. The people living in the island and banks of river suffer as their lands have been eroded. After the top layers are eroded the fertility of the soil is lost. So this project was carried out to study the detachment, transportation and deposition of cohesion less uniform and non-uniform sediments as well as run-off around an island of silty clay material.
