Abstract
The end of life concept need to be thought by the family members on the day the family member is diagnosed with dementia. The progress of dementia is unpredictable, hence one need not wait for the dementia to progress and wait until last stage sets in. The concept of end of life care that it should begin during terminal stage will not hold true in person with dementia as it is true in people living with cancer.
