AN OVERVIEW OF OPTIMIZATION OF SETTLING TIME OF MR DAMPER WITH SELECTED MR FLUID PARTICLE

Magnetorheological (MR) dampers have found many applications in the field of mechanical ,aerospace& automobile engineering etc.with the increasing demand for the noise & vibration control, application of such types of semi-active dampers are bound to increase. The Magnetorheological fluid dampers could offer an outstanding capability in semi-active vibration control due to excellent dynamic features such as fast response, environmentally robust characteristics, low poaer consumption &simple interfaces between electronic input& mechanical output. Magnetorheological fluid are now well established as one of the leading material for use in controllable systems.
