Abstract
Tools were derived from the firmly established theory of epidic modeling, although some adjustments became necessary ,because of particular characteristics of diabetic disease .the time to cross the threshold of the infected person is a vital event in seroconversion. A component subjected to shocks occurring randomly according to a general counting process and that fails when the cumulative damage exceeds a fixed threshold is considered .Numerical examples are given to illustrate various aspects of the model considered for the expected time to threshold.
