INFORMATION MECHANISM OF STATE REGULATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The article describes the essence and main goals of sustainable development, namely: economic growth, environmental protection, social justice, provision of equal opportunities for achievement of material, ecological and social well-being, stabilization of population, rational use of natural resources, education. The underlying approaches to the definition of the concept of "state regulation" are given, and the definition itself is given. In our opinion, state regulation generally means the purposeful influence of state power on the system of objects and processes by forming a set of rules for economic entities in order to ensure sustainable development of the economy and society. The system of state regulation of sustainable development of the country and the place in it of mechanisms are considered. In the context of the research, the role and features of the function of the information mechanism in ensuring sustainable development of the country have been analyzed. According to the Strategy of Sustainable Development of Ukraine for the period up to 2030, the main tools of the information mechanism for sustainable development regulation are identified and the main ones to be applied at this stage are identified.
