Enhancing Quality in Scrum Software Projects

Agile methodology has gained popularity in the last few years. Many large scale projects are developed using agile methodology. Scrum techniques are applied to many large scale projects, this paper discusses one such project. Here a case study has been discussed of a large scale project which uses Scrum Technique for development of its software project. The project is of a telecommunication company which uses Scrum for the development of its product Xsset. This case study discusses various tools to optimize the performance of the product. Here in this paper the different tracking tools and representation used to optimize the performance like run chart, JIRA, SVN and SCTM has also been discussed and using these tools few quality metrics has been calculated. This paper has also proposed a way in which we can optimize the cost and effort in Scrum Projects using function point with COCOMO model.
