Abstract
The compositions of light refractory concretes on expanded clay aggregate with binders of aluminous cements and high alumina combined binder of alumina cement and water glass, which on the physico-mechanical and thermal characteristics can be used to make individual load-bearing structures, thermal insulation of walls and ceilings and thermal lining units of residential houses. The optimal exposure time before drying concrete should be considered: for the concrete with astringent of aluminous cement – 4 days, the concrete with astringent of high-alumina cement – 7 days and the concrete with a combined binder of alumina cement and water glass – 1 day.
