Abstract
The oijective of this investigation was to evaluate the toxicity of copper-chromate-boron saltsformula against wood termites and fangal attack. The chemical.r used in ibis experimentwere tbose of "technicalgrade"results indicatedthat the preservatives u1ed were highly effective toprevent wood from subterranean termit eCoptotermes curvignathus Holmgren and dry-wood termite Cryptotermes cynocephalus Light.The preseruatise brought about 100% termite mortality at 1% concentration 1% and retention of more than 5.30 kg/ m'. higher preservative concentration (7.5%) and retention(above 30 kg/m3) were requiredtoprotectwoodfrom the rottingfangi (Schizophyllum commune)
