Abstract
Soil is the upper part of the earth's crust and supports our life supplies through chemical, biological and physical factors. Human beings depend a lot on soil for its food and shelter. Due to recent environmental changes in modern life, dumping of toxins to soil, has degraded its quality. Soil pollution is a major concern in the battle against environmental disaster. The sole purpose of the experimental study conducted was to demonstrate the degradation of soil microbes when toxic substances accumulation due to dumping of medical waste to soil and how it effect life forms like plants which grow directly on it. Also a characteristic study on the physical and chemical properties has given a detailed view of the problem. Further it was found that when the toxicity of soil increases life forms find it difficult to thrive and it can be neutralized by cow dung
