Abstract
This project presents a study of identifying or detecting early symptoms of skin cancer. Realization of automatic cell segmentation technique is presented. A program is developed in MATLAB and effectiveness of the developed program is tested with biomedical sample images. The study reveals that automatic cell detection technique aid cell segmentation with convincing results and increases the speed of analysis. It also provides consistent accuracy in objective cell segmentation. NC ratio plays a vital role in identifying or detecting early disease symptoms such as skin cancers during medical imaging analysis.
