Abstract
Piezoelectric energy harvesting is a promising technology for extracting the power from environmental vibrations. It generates the electrical power of few orders of amplitudes. Such vibration-based energy harvester generates the most energy when the generator is excited at its resonance frequency. When the external frequency shifts, the performance of the generator drastically reduces. This paper presents a review of effect of power generation by the piezoelectric material by changing the tip masses and its position. The purpose of this review paper is to summarize the important published papers on effect of power generation by piezoelectric material by changing the tip mass by many authors usage the most common masses.
