Abstract
This paper is the 53 rd research paper in a series investigating the evolution of mechanical engineering in ancient Egypt. It tries to achieve this purpose through investigating the farming tools during the ancient Egyptian Predynastic and Dynastic times. It outlines the farming techniques used by ancient Egyptians between land ploughing and grain storage. Extensive examples from different eras are presented for each process outlining the tools used and their location and time span.
