Abstract
The paper summarizes results of the mini research conducted by 1st-year students at the Siberian-American Faculty of Baikal International Business School. The purpose of the research was to examine students' study habits and preferences. Using questionnaires and interviews, the authors got data about the students' attitudes to homework, self-discipline, favorite courses, formats of work, and motivation. The paper concludes by giving recommendations how to increase efficiency in studying to develop successful professional qualities.
