Abstract
The article examines the psychological characteristics of convicts who are prone to autoaggressive behavior. The peculiarities of autoaggression of an individual are studied, the typology of convicts is also offered, where there is a study of the features of the motivational and emotional-volitional sphere, taking into account the results of psychodiagnostic research.
