Hermeneutics and works Sergius Radonezh

In this paper, we will consider the use of the hermeneutic approach to identify the idea of ​​one of the famous monuments of Russian literature - the Life of Sergius of Radonezh. Attention will be paid to the interpretation and analysis of the coincidence of life with other works of medieval Rus and translated hagiography. Through quotations and comparisons, what image did Epiphanius the Wise want to convey to Sergei Radonezh, what traditions and spiritual holiness of the people. The conclusion is made about the citative and paraphrase character of the work.
