Abstract
The questions of application of amorphous alloys in magnetic circuits of power transformers used in TPP 20/0, 4 kV are considered. The transformer with amorphous core reduces losses in the distribution network, because it has a small no-load loss. The transfer of electric networks from 6/10 kV to 20 kV allows to increase the capacity of distribution networks by at least 2-2.5 times within the same territory,to reduce the number of transformer substations, to improve the quality of electric energy and the reliability of power supply systems. The results of comparative calculations of electric energy losses for 6, 10 and 20 kV TPP are presented.
