Technological features of magnetic-abrasive polishing process

The durability of rubbing parts depends to a large extent on the quality of the surface treatment. Most often, mechanical polishing is used as the finishing treatment of friction surfaces. At present, another method of polishing is being developed: magnetic-abrasive polishing. A considerable number of works have been published on this subject. The paper will discuss the advantages of this type of treatment.
