Abstract
With a view to determine the influence of uranyl ions on the oxidation of CeIII and the effect of CeIV on the reduction of UVI electrochemical oxidationreduction studies were carried out at a fixed current density of 10 mAcm2 with 0.05 M pure CeIII and with 0.05 M CeIII in the presence of x M UVI x 0.028 0.098 0.246 and 0.411 in 11.5 M nitric acid medium.
