EVALUATION OF BOTTLED DRINKING WATER AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR LIQUEFACTION WATER OF BAGHDAD CITY

Abstract
Due to the decreased quality for the Tigris waters, pollution, high rates of salts in addition to the threats faced by the water sector in the study area, old existing water projects, breakdown the water production, also because of the drinking water don't reach the required level in most of the study area and does not fill the real need in many areas and because of the industrial and the technical progress that this era have witnessed away with the consequent rapid increase in the rates of water consumption and due to the contamination of some of these sources as a result of industrial waste and sewage water and some environmental accident, so there is a need to find effective alternatives to municipality water supply, especially when the period of emergency all this can be controlled through the consumption of bottled water, which has become necessary to activate the industry as one of the options the task of water supply and spreading the culture of consumption of bottled water to contribute to the reduction of disease, epidemics, the prevention of accumulation of salts and the formation of kidney stones, is characterized by bottled water, the high proportion of use for drinking in the study area in areas distinct culture of confidence in good quality for bottled water and a good income, it needs to activate the lifting of the culture of consumption in other segments of society as an important alternative to water supply in case of emergency.
