In the review the actuality, the content, and theoretical and practical significance of the tutorial by I. O. Karelina are evaluated. The author relies on the psychological and pedagogical approach to developing an emotion understanding at different stages of preschool childhood, the essence of which is a psychologically justi- fied arranging of joint educational activity between educator and preschoolers. The author reveals the possibili- ties of using the technology of pedagogical support a child in the process of developing emotion understanding at child as well as justifies the significance of using in educational process of visual, verbal, practical and gaming pedagogical methods and devices aimed at development of emotion understanding at preschoolers
