Abstract
The important method to improve the quality of seed material is determination of the optimum sowing standard for every certain condition. The varieties under study have high mass index equal to 40.9-44.8 gr per 1000 seeds, and high viability of 96.3-98.0 % was noted at sowing of 2 mln/ha of viable seeds. High yield of grain of 70.2- 72.8 dt/ha was obtained at sowing of 6 mln/ha of viable seeds, in these variants the seed yield was 59.6-66.1 dt/ha respectively.
