MODEL OF EDUCATION OF THE BASICS OF THE CULTURE OF CONSUMPTION IN CHILDREN OF THE SENIOR PRESCHOOL AGE

Abstract
Introduction. Modern integration processes associated with the entry of Ukraine into the European space are oriented towards changing the quality of life of every citizen of the country. State policy guarantees the effective functioning of the legal field, in particular the realization and awareness of consumer rights as one of the indicators of the quality of life of a person. In this regard, the task of developing consumer education at all levels of the educational process becomes urgent. Particular attention needs to be given to the development of the bases of the culture of consumption in preschool children, as well as rational economic thinking and rational economic behavior. Purpose. Theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the pedagogical conditions of education of the bases of the culture of consumption in children of the senior preschool age. Methods. Theoretical – analysis (historical-pedagogical, theoretical, comparative) of philosophical, psychological, socio-pedagogical literature for definition of purpose, tasks, object, subject, research hypothesis, substantiation of its theoretical foundations, definition of the conceptual apparatus, determination of the state of the developed theory consumption culture, refinement of its essence, functions; empirical – observation, interviewing children, conversation, study documentation used to determine the levels of education of the bases of the culture of consumption in children of senior preschool age; pedagogical experiment – to check the effectiveness of the model and experimental methods of raising the bases of the culture of consumption in children of the senior preschool age; mathematical – quantitative and qualitative analysis and interpretation of the obtained results, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The model and experimental methodology of raising the bases of the culture of consumption in children of the senior preschool age, which contains the purpose, stages of education of the investigated phenomenon (informative-motivational, cognitive, activity, reflexive-presentation), components, criteria, pedagogical conditions, forms, is developed, scientifically substantiated and tested. and the methods of their implementation and the result. Originality. For the first time, pedagogical conditions of education of children of the senior preschool age were determined and substantiated; the essence and structure of the phenomenon «education of the basics of the culture of consumption in children of the senior preschool age»; structural components (motivational, cognitive, activity-behavioral) and criteria (inductive, knowledgeable, productive-reflexive) of parenting of the culture of consumption with corresponding indicators were revealed; the level of education of the bases of the culture of consumption among the children of the senior preschool age (high, sufficient, satisfactory, initial) is characterized; the model of education of children of the senior preschool age is developed the bases of the culture of consumption (information-motivational, cognitive, activity, reflexive-presentation stages; the concept of «economic education of children of the senior preschool age», «culture of consumption» is specified; further development of the method of economic education of children of the senior preschool age. Conclusion. The study does not exhaust all aspects of the problem of raising the bases of the culture of consumption in children of the senior preschool age. The prospect of further scientific research we see in the development of a unified program and methodical provision to it, taking into account the principle of continuity in the education of the bases of the culture of consumption of children of the senior preschool and junior school age.
