METHODS OF FORMATION OF GEOMETRIC ABILITIES OF STUDENTS IN THE STUDY OF THE SECTION «DIRECT AND PLANES IN SPACE» IN THE PROGRAM LEVEL «STANDARD»

Abstract
Introduction. The content of content of the process of forming the mathematical competence of the student should be taken into account: variability of mathematics training in classes of different profiles; peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in the senior level of general secondary education; psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of students, as well as the specifics of the processes of socialization, self-development and self-actualization of pupils of senior school age. Purpose. To study the efficiency of using the method of expedient tasks in the formation of geometric skills of students, who master mathematics at the «Standard» level, Considering geometric skills as a component of the student's mathematical competence. Methods. This article explores use of the method of expedient tasks of the formation the geometric skills of students, who master mathematics at the «Standard» level, Considering geometric skills as a component of the student's mathematical competence. In teaching mathematics, general methods and specific methods of teaching mathematics are used. In the method of teaching mathematics to specific methods include: the method of expedient tasks. Results. It is also convenient to use the method of expedient tasks, when the system of tasks covers several concepts and facts of the topic. Examples of such task systems are given in the study. Originality. For the formation of the geometric abilities of students it is appropriate to use systems of expedient tasks for the assimilation of concepts, facts and methods of activity. Conclusion. Using these tasks as a system of expedient tasks in teaching high school students has an impact on their motivational and intellectual spheres, contributes to the formation of subject mathematical competences and their corresponding geometric skills of students.
