READINESS FOR PROFESSIONAL MOBILITY OF SPECIALISTS IS THE ANSWER TO THE CHALLENGES OF TIME

Introduction. The article deals with the problem of professional mobility through the prism of the concept of «challenge and response» by the British philosopher Arnold Toynbee. According to her, professional mobility is a challenge for the professional, and the preparedness for it is an answer that allows you to successfully realize yourself in the context of professional activity and personal self-development through the development of skills and abilities that can be effectively applied in the long term. Рurpose. Identification of the essence and generalization of views on the modern understanding of readiness for professional mobility of specialists through the prism of modern educational tendencies. Results. It is noted that a professionally mobile specialist should make some effort to respond (according to the report of the Independent Commercial Research Group IFTF study Future Work Skills 2020) «трудовим навикам для майбутнього» (ten work skills for the future). The essence of the concept of «professional mobility» as «integrated quality of the person», as a set of «professional qualities», expressing a certain «ability and readiness», is expressed, which is expressed only if it is implemented in a certain activity. Relying on the theoretical work of scientists, the criteria for the readiness of the manifestation of professional mobility, the periods of development of the system for preparing readiness for professional mobility of a specialist are singled out. The readiness for professional mobility of a specialist as an integral quality of the personality is revealed, which manifests itself in the ability to continuous professional, personal self-improvement and self-development, which ensures successful professional growth. Conclusion. The necessity of purposeful training of a specialist by forming readiness for professional mobility as a key personality and further scientific research in this direction is proved.
