Abstract

In the article, the results of a search study on the study of the structure of flexible competences of students of a medical college are reviewed. The competence pa-radigm of modern higher education aims at obtaining a highly qualified, competitive specialist. However, the formation of general cultural, professional and professional competences in general often leads to the emergence of a specialist, who perfectly possesses the practical unique skills inherent in his profession, but is experiencing an acute deficit in developed overprofessional, flexible, unified competences. The authors emphasize the timeliness and relevance of rethinking practical methodological approaches to the educational process of the medical university. They pay serious attention to the prospects and relevance of the application of a rich assortment of active teaching methods in the daily training of studentswho are going to become stress-resistant, independent, effective specialists. The article contains a rapid analysis of the diversity of the approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «soft skills» in modern science and practice. The authors compare the existing structural models of flexible competences, pay attention to the work concerning both the need and the prospects for the formation of «soft skills» for future professionals, and indicate the productive directions of the designated activities in the course of obtaining a profile education in higher education.
