Investigation of statistical methods for detecting network attacks

This article discusses the problem of detecting network attacks using statistical methods. Based on the studied network attacks, a mathematical model of detection was developed. The methods of statistical traffic analysis are implemented and implemented in the software module. Based on the results of the development, experiments were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the program module for detecting network attacks by statistical methods.
