Mediated Socialization youth. The construction of self on Facebook

The paper addresses the issue of emotional self construction of a group of young people through the narratives presented in the walls of their social network accounts on Facebook, part 6 young and analyzed a total of 300 comments by observation and qualitative interviews via Facebook chat. It considers the deployment of intimacy, affection and emotions, as behavior that has increased in capitalism and helping to dilute the lines dividing spheres of public and private, in addition to the construction of a social character directed by others.
