Pornography and eroticism. Philosophical reflections on the subject of desire at the digital age

In this work we will tackle to join to Michela Marzano's debate on about the reproduction of the pornography and the eroticism as two re- presentations of the human body. From Michel Foucault's thought, concretely from his notion of power, we will be analyzing the evolution of the pornographic industry and their representations as a condition for the problematization of individual as a subject of desire. In the context of the digital technology, we wish to inquire if the XXX images are able to raise an authentic experience about the body and its desire; it mean, if their contemplations spark the subjective ability off recognizing his own sexuality. But beyond the porn industry and its ideology, the amateur's movies and the post-porn's movement will be presented as a possibility of questioning to the identity through the human sexuality. Both manifestations are consequence of a confrontation between the individual with himself and two forms of get an experience about the pornographic industry's representations.
