Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate some microbiological properties in soil samples taken from maize grown fields in Sanliurfa. Also, some physic-chemical properties of these soil samples were observed. The soil samples were taken from 0-20 cm depth of maize grown soils. The microbial biomass carbon content of soils was determined as 98.2-198.5 mg C/g dry soil. The enzyme activities studied of soil samples were urease, catalase, dehydrogenase, alkaline phosphatase, β-glucosidase. Enzyme activities of samples were differently. Positive and negative correlation were found between soil properties observed.
