Abstract
The construction industry is one of the most energy consuming industry. It has not only adversely affected the environment but also the quality of living of the people and their health. One of the elements of building apart from the structural walls which lead to uncomfortable indoor conditions is the glazed windows, glazed facades or glazed roofs. This paper focuses on comparing Aerogel glass, an emerging technology in the field of glazing with other conventional glazed system. It also discusses other advantages resulting in better indoor thermal conditions by using Aerogel glass instead of conventional glass systems
