Abstract
The digital revolution has fundamentally changed every aspect of life today, but the process of architectural education, developed in the industrial age, has remained largely unchanged. This has brought forth many anomalies that we need to address to make the system of current architectural education relevant today. Tweaking the system in bits & pieces is not enough, we need a paradigm shift in the process of architectural education. The paper discusses the nature of this paradigm shift in the teaching-learning process and highlight the action program needed in all the three aspects of the process: imparting information, processing and analyzing the information and its application in the design studio.
