Abstract

By its nature of, language has undergone many changes over time. In the nineteenth century, linguists tried to find answers to this asked the question by questioning whether“Is there was any change in meaning. ?” The most visible part of this change on the back has naturally beenappears on the words. InDuring the course of history, many linguists from different places have tried to identify some factors which cause change of meaning and to classify them as scientific rules and logical rules. The changes that take place in the ruleswords are due to different reasons. In this translation, the writer explores the reasons for the changes in words over time (the emergence of new inventions and needs, social and cultural development, psychological and emotional situations, metaphorical change, creativity) and the ways in which this change occurs (semantic expansion, narrowing of meaning, he has mentioned.
