Abstract
The aim of this project is to develop an understanding of the mathematics and physics involved in a bungee jump, in order to gain a better understanding of the concepts involved. We will use Newton's law and utilize techniques needed to solve second order differential equations. For simplicity; we will regard the jumper as a point mass in one dimension and we will make the assumption that wind resistance has a linear relationship to speed. We will also assume that the bungee cord obeys Hooke's laws and doesn't break. Gowri. P | Glory Bebina.
