MODERN FORMATS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY

Educational qualifications of an educator are not identical to his or her professional qualifications; and the assessment of his or her activities depends not on the level of education, but on the ability to respond to the demands of time, to be constantly searching for ways to self-improvement. The article deals with the issues of professional growth of teachers in the context of postgraduate education. The author analyzes various forms of communication of teachers in order to improve their qualifications and marks out high-usage and episodic forms. Some frequently used forms of professional development – discussion paper, master class, training, storytelling, workshop, pedagogical coaching – have been characterized on the basis of theoretical analysis of methodical and pedagogical literature, the generalization of the complex of measures aimed at improving the professional skills of Ukrainian educators.
