Abstract
The article shows the relationship between the credit contract and the loan agreement in the civil legislation of the Ukraine. Their common and distinctive features are determined. A large number of positions regarding the legal nature of credit and loan obligations have been analyzed. It is established whether the credit contract is a type of loan, or the specified contracts are independent.
