Abstract
Thomas Armstrong's book "The Multiple intelligences of Reading and Writing: Making the world come alive" is reflecting the opposition to the emphasis of linguistic domain in the process of reading and learning. Instead, in a more comprehensive approach, the author informs the readers about how the acts of reading and writing are related to different parts of the brain through a discussion of the results of some relevant brain-based research studies.
