Abstract
In this article the main activities of the leading performing bands of Uzbekistan are considered: Na- tional Sy mphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, Symphony Or- chestra of Musical Theater Studio of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and Youth Symphonic Orchestra. On the basis of the analysis of orchestras' activi ties their role in education of new generation of listeners is revealed.
