Abstract
The technique of det ermination of optimum quantity of the operating furnaces in production of eth- ylene and propylene is developed, mathematical support of system of pyrolysis furnaces switching is created. The crite- rion of switching is additive and consists of static and dyna mic components. A static part is determined by static optimi- zation of pyrolysis installation, dynamic – as a result of optimization of the starting and shutdown modes of separate furnaces.
