Abstract
At the beginning of the 21st century health system reforms had to be made in almost all countries of the world. In most of them these reforms are still ongoing. The main reasons for that are: the deepening global economic crisis, the aging of the population and the growth of chronic diseases. All this requires an analysis of the existing healthcare system resources to be able to develop efficient care systems. International experience shows that to overcome the healthcare crisis we need to rationally use the nursing staff.
