Abstract
The work is devoted to mathematical modeling of the process of wave propagation in monodisperse suspensions. The system of nonlinear equ ations of two - phase media is solved by the method of a small parameter. A nonlinear evolution equation that describes the propagation of nonlinear waves in monodisperse suspensions is de- rived. In the first approximation , the dispersion relation is obtained . In the second approximation, it is obtained the evolution equation with the Korteweg - de Vries nonlinearity and additionally including its derivative, and nonlinearity of the diffusion type.
