Abstract

The article reveals the specificity of the Buddhist concept of conclusion in accordance with the meth- odological approaches developed by N.A. Kanayeva and E.L. Zabolotnykh. The concept of conclusion is presented as the central pro bl em of Indian epistemology, the conclusion is considered epistemologically and logically – as a part of intensional logic (N.A. Kanayeva's approach). The concepts of Dignāga, Dharmakīrti and Dharmottara are consid- ered, and the modern logic methods are used to analyze formal criteria for the correctness of Indian inference models (E.L. Zabolotnykh's approach).
