Abstract
The post cold war era demands to redefine and revise the fundamentals of the national security policies of the modern states. The reformation of the security structure, taking in consideration of traditional perspective of national security (of the military factor) seems to have become imperative (where the principle of armed security would not be the predominant factor). The contemporary universal brotherhood, good faith, and collective security principals have increasingly grown the interdependence among the states. Today the states have moved from realistic to liberal approach for designing the ‘common objectives' and use of the methods of ‘cooperation' and in ensuring the security of individual states, the group of states or of the whole international community.1
