Abstract
The major concern of the study is to assess the impact of utilization of hospital information system at La Consolacion University General Hospital on patients? satisfaction. This study made use of descriptive correlation method of research that utilized standardized questionnaires as primary data gathering tool. The respondents of the. The results were processed using the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) and interpreted using statistical tests such as regression analysis in determining the impact of utilization of hospital information system on patients? satisfaction. The findings of the study suggest moderate extent of hospital utilization may indicate providing more planning and budget allocation towards information technology improvisation. Good patient satisfaction on the quality of healthcare services means that the healthcare providers are not delivering their best efforts to fully satisfy the clientele of the hospital. The utilization of hospital information system as a whole significantly influence patient satisfaction on the healthcare services of LCUGH. As an implication of the study, patients? satisfaction on the hospital services is an important element in the delivery of quality nursing care.
