ECG SIGNAL ANALYSIS USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS - A REVIEW

Neural Networks have long been used for pattern recognition. Pattern recognition finds application in detection of trends. Deviations detected can then be used in identifying problem areas. This paper aims to depict a review of how Neural Networks have been used to study the ECG signals and diagnose heart problems that are evident through the abrupt variations in the different waves of the ECG. In this paper, we have tried to highlight some of the research aspects of ECG signal detection using neural network and how they can be used to diagnose various types of heart diseases, stress detection and point to a number of other heart related problems
