Abstract
The seasonal dynamics of water content and its forms in the Populus L species leaves, introduced in the arboretum of Krivoy Rog Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is studied. The content of bound water in the leaves of plants is a more meaningful indicator of the water regime, which provides greater stability of the Central Asian species of poplar compared with North American and Far Eastern.
