Abstract
For the first time, the experimental results on adhesion forces arising from liquid spreading over a solid surface were obtained. The technique, developed in the work, helped to obtain the force of adhesion distribution over the height of operating zone in the capillary. It is shown that 80 β 90% of the total adhesive force is formed in close proximity to the liquid column wetting line.
