THE FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES

Innovative development of the economy requires wider application of quality management methods. The set of methods used in the quality management system is quite wide and diverse, and has been formed throughout the history of quality management development. This article presents an approach to the classification of quality management techniques that take into account their functional characteristics, and applications. Methodological approaches to characteristics and application of different methods of quality management were substantiated. The paper identifies groups of quality management methods: theoretical foundations, concepts and systems, complex methods, individual methods that can be hierarchical in nature. The possibility of application of quality management methods in relation to internal and external subjects of the enterprise was considered.
