Committees of poor peasants in the Ukrainian village of the 1920s: the problem of reorganization

This paper investigates the problem of reorganizing the committees of poor peasants in the Ukrainian village in the mid 1920s. It was found that one of the major causes of deprivation of the committees of poor peasants administrative functions and transforming them to the status of ordinary social organization was spreading negative social and political attitudes of the peasantry on committees of poor peasants.
