Abstract

The present article dwells upon the essence of the concept of Umwelt as a human world and the environment of his existence. The author reveals the main characteristics of Umwelt and its types regarding the present stage of development of the civilization, such as the natural environment, technosphere, neuroreality and the environment (sphere) of distributed collective consciousness, which is associated with the phenomenon of crowdsourcing. The special significance is paid to the fact of the possible establishment of the fifth Umwelt – the network. A special accent must be given to the disclosure of transforming human values of modern electronic civilization, changing human attitudes to themselves and the world. Much attention is paid to the analysis of postnonclassical science, defining its features and ideological orientations. Also the author reveals the essence of the basic philosophical issues, such as the active development of scientific knowledge, dissemination and implementation of high technologies (Hi-Tech and Hi-Hume) etc. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the main features of electronic civilization, for example, the formation of social communication networks, the empowering of the global Internet, the virtualization of human life, and the processes of informatization, computerization and digitization. The author reveals the positive and negative impacts of high technology for human and society. Much attention is paid to the transformation of the concept of «ethics» in the context of active expansion of high technologies and the need for the formation of modern applied ethics, such as bioethics.
